上報於 2016 年 7 月創立，集結了一群資深記者、編輯、行銷與社群專才。平台致力於產出多元的原創內容，提供有洞見且好讀的觀點。網站順利上線後，同年 9 月推出官方行動應用程式。

Up Media was established in July 2016. The platform brings together a powerhouse of elite journalists, editors, marketing specialists, and social media experts. Up Media is dedicated to producing diverse original content and delivering insightful, engaging perspectives. Following its successful launch, the official mobile app was introduced in September of the same year.
