NEW TAIPEI CITY ART MUSEUM

This project was a strategic digital marketing and aesthetic education initiative developed during the pre-launch phase of the New Taipei City Art Museum. Serving as the Interaction Logic Consultant, I assisted the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the New Taipei City Government in breaking away from traditional web frameworks, transforming the museum's educational philosophy into a digital experience defined by interactive depth and emotional resonance.

Consulting Focus & Strategic Framework

Dual-Target UX Strategy — In the horizontal scrolling narrative, I designed a "gate-fold" information hierarchy. This allows children to engage with the illustrated story while parents can access professional art education methods and steps via hidden folds, creating a digital space for parent-child co-learning.

Developmental Psychology in Design — Specifically addressing the "Schematic Stage" (ages 7–9) in early childhood art development, I advised the integration of concepts such as "base lines" and "subjective spatial perspective" into the visual presentation. This approach is not merely a design choice but a profound tribute to how children perceive the world.

Parallax Storytelling & One-Page Architecture — To resolve UX pain points on mobile devices, I architected a One-Page Website utilizing Parallax Scrolling to allow museum collections to emerge naturally within a narrative. The protagonist navigates through various "portals" in the city and nature, symbolizing that art originates from an individual's subjective interpretation of their environment.

Technical Logic & Cinematic Transitions — I provided guidance on the logic of interactive transitions, using fluid animations to subtly contrast the different ways children and adults view the world. Furthermore, I provided structural recommendations for the VR experience pages on the general version of the site, ensuring that technological application directly served the core mission of art promotion.
